Marine Autonomous Systems Testbed (MAST)

Capitalizing on the location of Holyrood Bay, the real world, near Arctic conditions available at The Launch as well as the Institute’s capacity to support autonomous technology development, MI is currently working towards the establishment of Canada’s First MAST: Maritime Autonomous Systems Testbed: a formally recognized testing environment that will eliminate both physical and administrative barriers to autonomous technology development.
