DFO Marine Conservation Areas

Researchers from the Marine Institute and Fisheries and Oceans Canada are partnering on a five-year project supported by more than $11.2 million from the federal government’s Ocean Management Contribution Program to study at sea monitoring and gathering data within three federal marine conservation areas off Newfoundland and Labrador.  The Launch provides facility support to mobilize the critical research cruises that enable this important work.
